Promoted to replace the Human Resources Manager in December 2023, I now lead, support, and provide guidance to over 1500 employees from 12 unions as well as non-union staff across multiple states. I am a subject matter expert in labor-employee relations and negotiation, delivering assistance, supervision, and training to direct reports, complete administration of self-funded benefits, HSA, FSA, 401(k), compensation management, job analysis and classification, recruiting, interviewing, evaluating candidate qualifications, affirmative action/DEIB, onboarding, orientation, training, comprehensive employment law interpretation and council, investigations (including litigation), performance evaluations, policy development, advising on all employment matters, terminations/offboarding (including exit interviews), ERP/HRIS conversion, and total HR compliance at both the state and Federal level. Provided department set-up, HRIS implementation, onboarding/offboarding, DEIB, coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution/mediation, performance appraisals, legal compliance, payroll, recruiting, training, self-funded benefits negotiation, and administration. Global travel and working with expats and the USCIS were required for this position; I performed all human resource duties.
